Creating AOIs

We provide 2 ways to create AOIs.

Draw a geometry on the map: 

Using our geometry tools provided, you can draw shapes on the map and Save as AOI.

Import shapefile:

We support importing shapefiles to be used as AOIs. You have the option to start this process on the Search page or within the AOIs page. Once uploaded you can rename the file, set a buffer distance, and adjust your alerts.

Once you have your AOIs created, you can always edit the names of AOIs, delete AOIs, and update the buffer area around the AOIs.

AOIs can be used in our app as quick filters which will rapidly select all wells that intersect with the AOIs, and you can be alerted of any activity within your AOIs, which we will cover another section on Alerts.
